ActiMaris® – for modern wound treatment:

ActiMaris® – Wound cleaning concentrate 100ml
(3% NaCl / 0.2% NaOCl / pH 9.2)
The recommended period of treatment is 5 to 10 minutes for purulent, foul smelling, infected wounds with a thick fibrin coat. We recommend Wound Concentrate treatment for an initial phase of 2 to 5 days, after which treatment can be switched to Wound Rinsing Solution. This is generally recommended for the wet-dry phase. This can however also be repeatedly used for acute, chronic and inflammatory processes in the skin and mucous membranes, without causing tissue irritation.

ActiMaris® – Wound gel 20g
(3.0% NaCl / 0.2% NaOCl / pH 9.0)
The Wound Gel serves to moisten wound fillers or the base of the wound and can be combined with products for moist wound care. The Wound Gel keeps the wound moist and exhibits broad antimicrobial, antimycotic and deodorant activity. The gel can be used as a conventional wound gel, for example, in combination with alginates. This can however also be repeatedly used for acute, chronic and inflammatory processes in the skin and mucous membranes, without causing tissue irritation.

ActiMaris®– Wound irrigation solution 100ml / 300ml / 1000ml
(1.2% NaCl / 0.04% NaOCl / pH 8.5)
Treatment depends on the thickness and firmness of the fibrin coat, the microbial colonisation, the maceration of the border of the wound and the degree of irritation. For example, fibrin coated, foul smelling wounds heavily colonised with bacteria should be treated for between 5 and 20 minutes. On the other hand, if the environment of the wound is stable, the base of the wound is clean and there is no striking microbiological growth, 5 to 10 minutes of treatment are adequate.
